SUPPORT GROUP FOR LGBTQ+ IDENTIFYING THERAPISTS

ICEEFT supervisor-in-training Lisa Sydow, and ICEEFT trainers Robert Allan and Sandra Taylor, are setting up an online informal support group for therapists who identify as any one or more of LGBTQ+, to reduce the isolation many of us feel, to offer each other specific support, explore our work with our LGBTQ+ clients, and support each other in our certification journeys.

We invite LGBTQ+ people to join us whatever their geographical location and will support people being members of their local EFT community.

We will have bi-monthly sessions and the content will include informal/social time as well as some form of presentation and discussion.

This is a support group and there is no fee to attend.

Dates/times

Sessions will usually be on Wednesday's, on Zoom, they will be for 75 minutes and the dates/times for the next year are listed here. These times are in Mountain Time (the time in Colorado/Alberta) and you will need to check the time in your time zone e.g. https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/ - note that sessions are at different times so that people from different time zones will be able to attend at least some of the sessions.

MENTAL HEALTH REPARATIONS INITIATIVE

Join The Cause!
St. Mary of Bethany Parish Church in Nashville, TN is committed to paying the student loans of local Black therapists to begin to heal the existing disparity between the number of white and Black therapists. EFT Tennessee is excited about this and wants to help spread the word as much as possible! Please consider helping us. While we realize this is just a drop in the bucket when it comes to reparations, it’s something tangible we can do now. The faster money comes into the fund the more therapists St. Mary’s can begin to walk alongside for debt relief. Every dollar that goes into the fund goes directly to paying off loans.
