About the Event

This 4-hour workshop is designed to assist the temporary need to not have in-person workshops in light of the coronavirus situation. Both facilitators who have hosted Hold Me Tight® workshops before and those who are new to facilitating are welcome to attend.

Learning Objectives: 

1.  Learn how to structure online workshop format 

2.  Facilitate group processing and couple engagement

3.  Lessons learned about best practices for HMT workshops in a weekly format

4.  Limitations and guidelines for online HMT workshops

As a Certified EFT Trainer, Kenny Sanderfer educates and trains EFT Therapists across several states. He is the founder and director of EFT Tennessee, Nashville's center for training in Emotionally Focused Therapy. He provides EFT supervision for therapists pursuing EFT certification. As a Certified EFT Therapist, he provides intensive two-day couples therapy in Murfreesboro, TN. He recently co-authored a book with Dr. Sue Johnson, Created for Connection: The Hold Me Tight Guide for Christian Couples.

Teri Murphy, PhD, LMFT is a Certified EFT Therapist and Supervisor. She teaches classes on EFT and hosts a daily morning show on relationships with her husband, Chris. Teri has assisted EFT trainers with externships, core skills, and Hold Me Tight® events including the US Army’s Strong Bonds chaplain training program. She maintains a private practice in Franklin, Tennessee.
